How We Review: Our Published Method
A method you cannot read is not a method. This page sets out exactly what 007JL looks at when it describes an operator, what we are able to check from the outside, and where we stop. 007JL is an independent guide: it is not a casino, it takes no deposits, it holds no balances and it runs no games. We publish no scores and no rankings, because a single number hides the reasoning that actually helps you.
Eight things we look at
- Licence disclosure. Does the site name its operating company and its licence in a place you can find without hunting, and does that name appear in the regulator's own published records?
- Payment rails. Which methods are offered, and does the site explain that rail behaviour and operator approval are two separate delays?
- Terms clarity. Can an ordinary reader find the withdrawal conditions, the bonus wagering rules and the dormancy clause without a search function?
- KYC rules. Is identity verification explained before you deposit, including which documents are expected and when?
- Complaint route. Is there a named escalation path beyond live chat, and does the site acknowledge the regulator's channel?
- Responsible-gaming tools. Are deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion actually present in the account area, or only mentioned in a footer?
- Support channels. How many ways in, what hours, and does anything produce a written record you can keep?
- App distribution. Does the site tell the truth about store availability and sideloading, or does it push an installer from somewhere it does not control?
What we can verify
- Whether a company name and licence reference appear on the site and whether they match the regulator's published list
- Whether required pages exist: terms, privacy, responsible gaming, complaints
- What the published wording actually says, and when it contradicts itself
- Which payment brands are displayed, and how the rails behind them work in general
- Whether a published RTP matches the studio's own figure, where the studio publishes one
What we cannot verify
- How fast a particular operator pays you, or what it charges. Those are set by the operator — check its cashier page
- Whether support is helpful on the day you need it
- The configuration a lobby runs on an individual game, since operators can select lower RTP settings than the studio default
- Anything about an account we do not hold, because we hold none
- That a site which behaves well today will behave well next month
Where a figure cannot be sourced, we leave it blank. A blank is information. An invented number is not.
The line between checking and claiming
| We will write | We will not write |
|---|---|
| "The site publishes an operating company name; here is how to check it against the regulator's records" | "This casino is licensed and safe" |
| "InstaPay moves in real time, within a per-transaction cap; PESONet settles in batches on banking days" | "Withdrawals take 15 minutes" |
| "The studio publishes this RTP; an operator may run a lower configuration" | "This game pays 99%" |
| "Bonus terms set the wagering requirement; read the multiple and the time limit before opting in" | "Claim ₱8,000 free" |
| "Here is the escalation route if a payout stalls" | "We tested a withdrawal and it arrived" |
Money and independence
Some outbound links on this site may be partner links, which means a click can earn the site a commission. That arrangement is the same regardless of what a page says, and no advertiser sees a draft or gets a change. Nothing is removed on request and nothing is added for a fee. If a commercial relationship ever required us to soften a page, the page would stay and the relationship would go.
There is no scoring system to buy, which is deliberate: ranking tables are the easiest thing in this industry to sell, so we do not have one.
Authorship and corrections
Pages are published under the site name rather than a personal byline, because inventing a reviewer persona would be the first dishonest thing on the page. Every page carries a published and a modified date, and when something changes we change the date with it.
If you can show that something here is wrong, we would rather fix it than defend it. Corrections are edits to the page, not footnotes buried at the bottom.
Who this is for
Adults aged 21 and over who want to understand how the mechanics and the money actually work before they risk anything. If that is not you today, the responsible-gaming page is the more useful door, and it costs nothing to use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you score or rank operators?
No. Scores compress the reasoning into a number that looks objective and is not, and ranking positions are the most saleable thing a site like this could offer. We describe what is checkable and leave the judgement with you.
Do you accept payment for coverage?
Links may be partner links and may earn a commission on a click. Wording is not for sale, nobody reviews a draft before publication, and no page is altered or removed because a company asked.
Have you tested withdrawals yourself?
No, and we will not claim to. We hold no accounts. Payout speed and fees are set by the operator, so the honest answer is to point you at its cashier page and its written support replies.
Why are some figures missing?
Because we could not source them. A blank cell tells you the number is unverified, which is more useful than a confident guess that happens to be wrong.
Who writes these pages?
The site publishes under its own name. We do not invent authors, credentials or photographs, and we think a fabricated expert byline is a worse signal than no byline at all.
